How can I integrate a slide show with BD Author 3D 2.6? Is there a specific file format for the slides? Does somebody has a workflow?

Hi Joachim,
yes, you should have *.spi file with same file as video. *.spi examples are:
TimeBased slideshow:
TS
120
120
120
120
120
1
or BrowsableSlideshow:
BS
120
120
120
120
1
where 120 is delay for every frame.
Then when you will open such video you will see "Type: Timebased/Browsable slideshow" in properties.
Select video file in assets and click "Generate PlayList" - you will see PlayList structure generated according to BS or TS slideshow.
Find attached example.
Best regards,
Valery.

Re: Slide Show Integration in BD Author
Thank you Valery. With your explanatioon I have a further question. How do I generate the video (m2v) file from graphic files (e.g. .jpg photos)? Can I add an audio stream to the slideshow file?

Re: Slide Show Integration in BD Author
Add audio in Assets Tab and create clip with type "Sub TS of Audio for a sub-path of Browsable slide show". Then create SubPath "primary audio of the Browsable slideshow" in PlayList and add this Clip. Regarding picture encoding to M2V or AVC slideshow, can't say exactly at the moment ... you can try different encoders that allows encode image to video.
Best regards,
Valery.
