I have an issue with the subs after compilation.
Subtitles are made with the latest version of subtitles edit. 5.1 .0 Version, not a beta version
Parameters are set to export srt files as UTF-8 with BOM.
After export caracters with accents get a typo error see attachd file tazken from BDS version 4.5.0.2033.
This doesn-t happen when muxing .sup files exported through subtitle edit.
Looks like BDS changes something or the exported file has something wrong. Seems to be the ANsi norm or something.
When opening the .srt file BDS makes after compilation and watching the png file they appear with the wrong typo.
Never had this before. Although I have a bypass with the .sup files any idea from wher it might come from ?

Thanks for the reply. I tried to compile a new project with no issue this time.
It's one of the first time I use this version of subtitle edit. Some subtitles are generated with AI on another site with a software. I modified
an option in SE which says "auto convert in UTF8 when importing files". The export is always "export under UTF8".
The error happens when compiling the original.srt that goes into the file which contains the new .srt, the .png and the ssac.scn-sst
sometimes both the .srt and the .png are wrong, because the .png derive from the .srt I guess.
I will let you know if it happens again.

Ok thanks for your quick reply.
The error should be in subtitle edit or in veed which is the AI soft/system that helps me do the file.
The file from Veed is imported in Subtitle Edit and after synchro and corrections into BDS. I noticed one thing the subtitle file for the movie has NOT been sent to Veed for AI translating and so on. This one has no errors with accents after compilation.
All other subtitle files have been sent to Veed and reimported in Subtitle Edit.
But Subtitle Edit is set for exporting in UTF8 with BOM this is the export that I always use and that I have always been using with BDS with no problem so far. So what I did is that I re opened my file in SE saved it under a different name, reopened it with notepad and saved it under UTF8 with BOM.
Then I deleted all index file (don-t know if necessary) from BDS to be sure and it works fine. Looks like the latest version of SE has an issue when exporting files. I wiil get back to you if they answer.
