Adding Chapters (Help?)

I've added the H264/AC3 movie to my project. I realized that I hadn't added the chapters to it. I've tried to find a way to manually add them. Is there a way to do this?

Yes, double click the movie and in the opened window you can select the appropriate place (on the timeline at the bottom or time edit field at the top) and use toolbar button to add a playmark.
You can use import button at the right as well.

Just to confirm, the "toolbar button to add a playmark.", is that the "Add chapter (Ins)" button nect to the "Next chapter" button. Because I've clicked that and it doesn't work.

it is working after you select time on the timeline

I put the exact time I wanna place the chapter in. In the time spot next to the "Generate scenes" button. Then I try to click the "Add chapter (Ins)" button. But it still doesn't work. Am I not selecting the time on the timeline?

after you put a time - press tab, so it applies your changes and change the position on the timeline

I put in the time on the edit field on the top, then press tab. I can see arrow on the timeline highlight blue (originally black). I then press the "Add chapter (Ins)" button, but it sill doesn't work. Am I forgetting or missing something.

Did picture in the preview window change after you pressed the tab (showed the frame where you want to put a chapter)? Did timeline change its position?
If not - something wrong is with your video or index generation was canceled. Did you see any errors while was opening the Scenes window?
If index generation was canceled - open project properties and click "Delete all index files" and then "Generate missing index files".

Is the preview window the small boxes on the bottom? If yes, then it didn't change once I pressed tab. I did open the project properties and lick "Delete all index files" and then "Generate missing index files". I retried the process. And still unable to do anything. The arrow on the timeline has moved to the spot I want. Also, I didn't receive an error when I open the scenes.
