Switch to different menu when video finishes

Post by sentrywasbored »

Using Blu-Disc Studio MX Latest

I have two sets of menu renders, a main one with an introduction video, and a loop version to follow the intro vid in perpetuity.

Is there a way I can change to a different menu once the AV content playing finishes?

If the difference is only in intro:
- place your intro as a separate movie
- create an empty menu with only one enter action Jump MENU -> [your real main menu]
- (optional) add a playmark (chapter) in this intro movie where your menu should appear
- specify the intro movie from above as "Intro movie" in this dummy menu properties
- when you need to play the intro - jump to this dummy menu, otherwise - jump to the real main menu

yeah, tried this, immediately got error 12 on compile (cannot jump to static main menu)

Through trial and error, i got it somewhat working by using the first play video as the intro movie to the main menus, but the interaction menu content still appears on-screeen during times it really shouldn't be. Is there a way to hide the menu assets until the correct chapter is playing in the video and/or manually time their appearance?

You should jump to the appropriate enter action

It should not be visible if you're using Intro movie with a chapter. It is hard to say what is wrong in your project without seeing it. Could you send your .BDMD project file?
