Hi, I'm trying to make a seamless branching blu-ray.
I want it to have 2 main movie titles each of which constis of 6 parts, some are the same and some different for the 2 titles.
How to do that? I don't know what to select for tracks, subtracks, virtual tracks or subtracks.

Hi,
Track - means real Clip/M2TS or first PlayItem in PlayList.
SubTrack - real Clip/M2TS of second or next PlayItem in PlayList.
For example: Track->SubTrack1->SubTrack2 = PlayList.PlayItem1->PlayItem2->PlayItem3
Virtual - ordinary track that is reffered to existent Track, for example, in case if you need to use several same parts:
PlayItem1.Clip1
PlayItem2.Clip2
PlayItem3.Clip3
PlayItem4.Clip1
In EasyBD Pro it looks like:
Track1
SubTrack1
SubTrack2
VirtualSubTrack1(reffered to Track1)
Now regarding seamless branching, just set seamless Flag between Track and SubTracks.
In common case you should follow these rules for seamlessly connected parts:
1. Stream numbers must be the same.
2. Stream formats must be the same too.
3. All streams durations within every part must be the same. Video_Duration = Audio1_Duration = Audio2_Duration...

yes, your tracks sequences for both cases looks correct.
Please use "seamless connection", because "seamless concatenated" is more special case. For "seamless concatenated" the audio stream of P1 may terminate with incomplete audio access unit, and the audio stream of P2 with same PID value may start with incomplete audio access unit. When the two incomplete audio access units are concatenated, it shall make one complete audio access unit. In another words "seamless concatenated" means more accurate connections.

OK, i did it like this. My audio track is encoded separately for each part, so i belive it would be ok.
Unfortunately, i have some sync problems with truehd stream. For some parts, truehd is out of sync, while the ac3 sub stream is in sync. I think it has to do with the truehd problem i reported last week.
One more question. Do you know why bdinfo application doesn't so any bit rates for this disc, while it shows for every other? Perhaps the truehd problem as well?

Ok, but it's not a special type. The problem i reported last week was a standard 7.1 layout and this one is a standard 5.1 layout. Both made with dolby media producer. if you want i can make whatever samples or layouts of truehd you want for testing.

Hi, I mean that some truehd files works fine, but not yours. Currently, we have several not working examples, I hope this helps us to add correct truehd multiplexing in next version. Thanks for help, I'll let you know if we need more examples.

yes, it looks like we fixed this issue. Now we have new BD muxer, but we need to spend some time before include it in EasyBD for end-user release. We need test it well and be sure that all works fine and passes verifications. I can't say now how long we need to test, I hope several weeks.
One more additional feature in new version is "Chapter wizard", this feature allows you to see every frame in list of chapters. So, user can now set chapters very accurate.
