I've got the trial version of mx Pro and I have the HardwareID.
Txt in the bds Pro folder after it was generated by HID. exe
I've restarted the application but I get an error when I go to create scenes for the movie.
MUI Generator not found at
Check program options (tools options)
Do I need tsmuxer as I thought the internal muxer was all I need.
Thanks

MUI Generator not found means that you are using the target "Scenarist". Please change the target using the drop-down menu at the 4th button from the left on the toolbar.

OK I think I found the problem you have to go to properties of the movie than click on the arrow to the right of scenes to open the internal muxer to generate scenes first as I was right clicking the movie and selecting open scenes.
Now the only problem I have now is that my video file is 1h 55min long so the time code should be 00:00:00:00 to 01:55:23:99 but the muxer says its 00:00:06:22 so some think is not right here.
I used these X264 settings
x264 --bitrate XXXXX --preset veryslow --tune film --bluray-compat --vbv-maxrate 40000 --vbv-bufsize 30000 --level 4.1 --keyint 30 --open-gop --slices 4 --fake-interlaced --colorprim "bt709" --transfer "bt709" --colormatrix "bt709" --sar 1:1 --pass 1 -o out.264 input.file

Try to delete an index file via "Project properties" -> "Delete all index files" at the bottom. Then try to open it again. If the problem still exists - I need this video file to find the cause.

and in the BDS scenes generator its only 11 mins long not 1h59min and shows 23.976 at the top.

25 and 29.97 should be interlaced

The confusing thing is that
http://www.x264bluray.com/home/1080i-p says progressive and fake-interlaced is supported.

I don't know what is it fake-interlaced. It looks like a hack. There is a list of supported resolutions and frame rates

I see so I only have the option of the below.
1920×1080 29.97i 16:9
1920×1080 25i 16:9
1920×1080 24p 16:9
1920×1080 23.976p 16:9
Does this apply to videos in the menus too.
Thanks for your support

Ok so encoded the video to 29.97i with the following.
x264 --bitrate XXXXX --preset veryslow --tune film --bluray-compat --vbv-maxrate 40000 --vbv-bufsize 30000 --level 4.1 --keyint 30 --open-gop --slices 4 --tff --colorprim "bt709" --transfer "bt709" --colormatrix "bt709" --sar 1:1 --pass 1 -o out.264 input.file
But still in the scenes generator it shows 1920x1080, 23.976
I've noticed in mediainfo it says Frame rate mode : Variable is it this that's causing me this headache, it should say 29.97 surly.
I thought the above x264 code was compatable.
What do you use to demux please.
