Blu-Disc Studio Error adding video asset

I've been authoring BluRay discs in Blu-Disc Studio MX Pro 2.5 successfully for months but when I decided to upgrade to 3.1.5 I cannot output using the internal muxer in this version? Every time I try I get the error > Cannot open MES-file followed by Error adding video asset.
Because version 3 installs into a new program folder I still have version 2.5 working perfectly that I can use for now but I'd love to get the newer version working properly If I can.
Can someone please help me figure out why this might be happening?

Unfortunately license ran out at 3.1.5 maybe I'll contact them ans see if I could just get an upgrade price.

Was there a problem with 3.1.5 ? Is this problem known?
