DOLBY VISION menus
I've just been asked about having DV menus on the disc? Didn't even know it was a thing.
Will KITe Java accept this?

Re: x264/x265 UI
BROKEN PIPE: I've been attempting to end an encode at a certain point ( 240 frames for testing purposes). I've successfully encoded the whole file using x265 but keep on getting Broken pipe errors whenever I limit the amount of frames to encode. I did try 241,244,480 etc to see if it needed a certai...

Re: Difference between products and input video specs
I've just downloaded it last night, very very useful tool. I've only played around with x264/265 tabs for a few hours, Dolby Vision side later. It would be handy to have 1) Start and stop menu in frames, not just a duration. There are times I have to chop off logos from the start and textless elemen...

Is anyone using the Dolby Encoding Engine v5.0.0 to encode DV material for their UHD discs?
Just about to make the jump any tips/help would be greatly appreciated.

In Theory - Indie Dostudio BD to KITE UHD
I've now been asked to do a 4K Blu-ray of a 2k Blu-ray I completed in DoStudio Indie. If I import the DoStudio Java project into KITe Java, swapped over all the 2k video streams for 4k ones, changed the appropriate project setting, and the menus are the same size, should this work? I will be trying ...

Re: Choppy playback issue
" too much peak with variable bitrate. I use x264 with recommended params."
Out of curiosity what did you set your video data rate to? Is the DTS stream 5.1 or 2.0?
When the choppiness happens on the disc is there a lot going on picture and sound wise?
